Miley came into this world with a bit of a bang. After 12 hours of hard labor and dilating to 9cm our midwife checked me and found it wasn't Miley's head that was descending into the birthing canal, but her bum. She was breach. The focus of my labor then became to stop pushing and to visualise keeping her inside long enough to get into the operating room. We made it through the stalled hour and a crew of doctors, midwifes, and nurses brought her safely into the world. (They had to untangle her from the umbilical cord which she was wearing as a double wrapped scarf.)
The entire experience was a blessing. Timber and I enjoyed working through labor together. It was empowering, epic, and transformative. It is just another authome experience we lived together. We both think the birth of Miley is our greatest accomplishment as a couple...now a family. We are glowing proud parents and know that our little girl is the most precious being in the universe. We can't wait for her to meet all of you.

Tim and Jean--Tku for sharing your blog space! I hope it's okay to lv a note for you...
I wanted to let you know that I esp enjoyed reading about Miley's birth, and the pic of Tim w/Miley on his tummy...funny, we have a similar pic of my husband Gene, w/our son Garry resting on him in quite the same position, w/Gene "out like a light"...! :->
What wonderful adventures you've both shared, and what fantastic adventures you've begun to gather now as a growing family!
Tku again for sharing your great Life-story...such a wealth of special memories for Miley to read and treasure as she grows into a young lady!
Sending warm wishes to you and yours!
