How Does Our Garden Grow?

With buckets and buckets of water!!
I never thought I would be hauling buckets of water to my tomatoes. We live on the rainy side of Hawaii Island. But I guess summer brings drought even to this lush jungle. Despite the fact that there is dew or rain every morning, our grass is brown and crunches when we walk on it and the basil is wilted. So, each evening, we haul water to our plants. Timber lovingly cares for the Hapu'u ferns, the pineapple garden, and the orchids. I care for the tomatoes, peas, eggplant, basil, and peppers.
